Natalia is a psychologist, university lecturer, and consultant specializing in sustainable human development, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion. Currently the legal representative of the consultancy Efecto Boomerang, she has advised over 200 companies and organizations across 19 countries in Latin America and the United States. Her work spans strategic planning, diagnostics, and the design of business and communication strategies that enhance both competitiveness and social impact. She has collaborated with international organizations such as UN Women, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations Development Program in Costa Rica, as well as with various government agencies, to develop public policies on gender equality. Natalia also facilitates training on unconscious bias, inclusive communication, and leadership for both academic institutions and corporate clients.
Her key expertise areas include gender-sensitive HR policies and practices, illustrated by her work guiding organizations through inclusive recruitment, retention, and flexibility measures. She has developed and implemented workplace harassment prevention policies through tailored training and compliance support. In customer service, she has helped companies align protocols with diverse client needs to ensure inclusive service delivery. She has also supported organizations in reviewing procurement practices to integrate gender criteria into supplier selection processes. Finally, she has contributed to diversifying sales teams by delivering workshops on unconscious bias and inclusive leadership in commercial environments.
